Description
With a new boot chassis profile that offers improved feel and sensitivity on the bike’s controls and a leather upper main construction that integrates a fully waterproof membrane, the newly evolved design of the Andes v2 DRYSTAR Boot offers durability and abrasion resistance, and is ideal for long or short touring escapades.
Construction:
- Fully featured touring DRYSTAR® boot for long distance road riding in a range of climactic conditions.
- Main upper material constructed from reinforced leather for improved comfort, durability and abrasion resistance.
- Full DRYSTAR® internal membrane ensures 100% waterproof performance and a high level of breathability.
- Extensive front and rear accordion constructed from microfiber to offer durability, comfort and excellent range of forward and back flex movement.
- Medial side entry opening / closing system with elastic-mounted zipper and wide flap hook-and-loop grip closure for convenience and precise, secure, fit. Incorporates large aperture opening to promote easier entry and facilitate more convenient removal of boot.
- Strategically positr and the toe box from abrasion and incorporates technical texturing for grip.
Protection:
- Toe box and heel counter internal reinforcement gives structured support, improved feel and impact resistance.
- Double density TPU ankle protector disks are layered on both sides under the upper and backed by poly-foam padding for protection.
- Internal shock resistant TPU shin guard mounted under the leather gives superior impact resistance.
- The Andes v2 DRYSTAR® boot is CE certified to CE CERTIFIED EN 13634:2010.

- Advanced TPU shift pad protects the uppeole injected in polypropylene includes shank reinforcement for structural support and stability.
- Removable anatomic advanced EVA footbed provides arch support and high levels of comfort.
- Rear reflective insert for improved visibility of rider.
- Alpinestars exclusive vulcanized rubber compound sole promotes improved feel and grip, water dispersion and durability.
- Contoured insioned advanced TPR shin plate and TPR ankle protector for critical protection without impeding flexibility.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER?
We do our best to ship on the same day as your order. Your package should arrive in 3 business days. If we know it is going to take longer than 3 business days to get it out to you, we will let you know so you can decide if you would still like the product.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES (ONLINE ORDERS ONLY)
We will accept returns or exchanges on new, unused product within 30 days of your shipment being marked as delivered by the shipping company. Please contact us for a return authorization. Refunds will be made to the original method of payment.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the item is not in re-sellable condition. To ensure that your item is approved, make sure the item is in new and unused condition, and has all the original packaging. For returning helmets, boots, or other items that come in a box, do not use the original product box for shipping – this will negate your refund request. Please put them in an external shipping box to avoid any damage during the shipping process.
Any merchandise which has been 'taken out for a ride' or ‘tried on the bike’ is considered used and cannot be returned. We recommend trying on your gear indoors, for example, walking around in your boots in your home, or trying on your helmet while watching TV.
There are no restocking fees on product returns that meet the above conditions. Special Orders may be subjected to a restocking fee.
Buyers cover return shipping costs. For exchanges over $99, we will ship the new size to you free of charge.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Electrical items (such as Intercom devices, bluetooth systems, cameras, heated gear, etc), helmets, consumables, special order items, base layers (including balaclavas and socks), clearance items, gift cards, and products listed as “Final Sale” are non-returnable and non-refundable.
BACKORDERS AND DISCONTINUED PRODUCT
We do our very best to keep our website’s inventory up to date, however, item availability changes very quickly and sometimes items will be backordered or discontinued. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible, and we will always try to provide similar options for you to choose from. For backordered items, you are not obligated to wait and can receive a full refund to your original method of payment.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY (IN STORE)
Some items listed “available” online are not stocked in our storefront on an ongoing basis. If you have seen something online that you wish to see in-store, we recommend that you call ahead to see if we have the item, or make arrangements to order it in if we do not. Most items can be ordered in within one to two business days.
