Description
The Shoei RF-SR Helmet takes every step possible to deliver a quiet, comfortable ride. The CWR-1 shield is held firmly against the eyeport using a constant tension sprung hinge design; this greatly reduces opportunities for wind ingress. The exterior shell of the RF-SR is wind tunnel optimized and manufactured in multiple sizes to keep the outer envelop as small as possible. A smaller exterior shell translates directly into less turbulence, neck strain and total weight. Elements of the padded liner are interchangeable to dial in the perfect fit. Each RF-SR is handmade in Japan to the highest standards and easily surpasses DOT and SNELL M2015 safety certifications.
Aerodynamic Shell Design:
- Aerodynamic properties maximized through extensive wind tunnel and feedback from professional riders
- Dual-Layer EPS liner enhances impact absorption and ventilation
- Four shell and six EPS liner sizes increase fit options that help to comfortably fit most head sizes
Ventilation System:
- Two upper air intake vents are positioned to maximize air volume into the helmet interior; hot air is exhausted through top outlet for a more comfortable ride
- Lower intake vent absorbs air exhaled from the mouth to help eliminate shield fogging
- Breath guard and chin curtain included
Lightweight Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus (AIM+):
- High performance fiber materials are combined with extremely elastic organic fibers to create a shell structure that is ultra lightweight, rigid and resilient
Interior:
- The entire interior lining (cheek pads, upper liner, and chin strap covers) can be removed for cleaning, center and cheek pads can be replaced with optional thicknesses for a customizable fit
- E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick Release System) allows emergency medical personnel to easily remove the cheek pads from an injured rider’s helmet, enabling the helmet to be more easily removed from the head
- Extra comfort provided by removable ear pads, breath guard, and chin curtain
- Standard chin strap clip neatly secures chin strap
CWR-1 Shield and QR-E System:
- CWR-1 shield features ribs along the top and bottom to improve rigidity and eliminate bending from wind pressure during opening and closing
- Improved window beading features dual-layered dual lip construction that ensures a windproof and waterproof seal with every closure
- Locking mechanism easily engages the shield lock when fully closed
- Pinlock pins and EVO fog resistant lens insert included
- Spring-loaded base plates offer quick shield changes
- Five-stage rotating dial allows fine tuning of the base plate for easy shield adjustments
- QR-E closure system allows for tool-less shield removal and installation, and provides an air-tight seal intended to significantly minimize wind noise
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER?
We do our best to ship on the same day as your order. Your package should arrive in 3 business days. If we know it is going to take longer than 3 business days to get it out to you, we will let you know so you can decide if you would still like the product.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES (ONLINE ORDERS ONLY)
We will accept returns or exchanges on new, unused product within 30 days of your shipment being marked as delivered by the shipping company. Please contact us for a return authorization. Refunds will be made to the original method of payment.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the item is not in re-sellable condition. To ensure that your item is approved, make sure the item is in new and unused condition, and has all the original packaging. For returning helmets, boots, or other items that come in a box, do not use the original product box for shipping – this will negate your refund request. Please put them in an external shipping box to avoid any damage during the shipping process.
Any merchandise which has been 'taken out for a ride' or ‘tried on the bike’ is considered used and cannot be returned. We recommend trying on your gear indoors, for example, walking around in your boots in your home, or trying on your helmet while watching TV.
There are no restocking fees on product returns that meet the above conditions. Special Orders may be subjected to a restocking fee.
Buyers cover return shipping costs. For exchanges over $99, we will ship the new size to you free of charge.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Electrical items (such as Intercom devices, bluetooth systems, cameras, heated gear, etc), helmets, consumables, special order items, base layers (including balaclavas and socks), clearance items, gift cards, and products listed as “Final Sale” are non-returnable and non-refundable.
BACKORDERS AND DISCONTINUED PRODUCT
We do our very best to keep our website’s inventory up to date, however, item availability changes very quickly and sometimes items will be backordered or discontinued. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible, and we will always try to provide similar options for you to choose from. For backordered items, you are not obligated to wait and can receive a full refund to your original method of payment.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY (IN STORE)
Some items listed “available” online are not stocked in our storefront on an ongoing basis. If you have seen something online that you wish to see in-store, we recommend that you call ahead to see if we have the item, or make arrangements to order it in if we do not. Most items can be ordered in within one to two business days.
