Description
A class-leading, low-cut performance riding boot, the SM-1 R V2 Vented Riding Shoe incorporates a host of technical innovations for improved levels of comfort, fit and durability. Constructed from a lightweight and abrasion-resistant microfiber upper with extensive perforations for maximum airflow and breathability, the shoe is also equipped with strategically positioned TPU protectors for abrasion resistance in a key area. The SMX-1 R V2 Vented Riding Shoe also features a rubber compound sole with superior grip patterning for excellent grip both on and off the bike, while the accordion flex zones give support and control regardless of your riding position.

- Integrated, replaceable bi-injected TPU forefoot slider features new easy-screw fixing concept for quicker and easier replacement
- Removable anatomic foot-bed includes EVA foam and Lycra® for comfort and support
- Internal mesh lining for cooling comfort and moisture-wicking
- Ergonomic boot shaping for forefoot streamlining which offers wide-ranging foot profile fit and comfort
- Evolved closure strap is anatomically angled to follow natural shape of rider's instep
- Front Velcro® closure system offers a quick and secure fit over the instep area while permitting excellent levels of flex. Strap features TPR puller for ease of use
- Aramidic fiber wires ensure the new strap closure system is durable, thin and lightweight
Construction:
- Main upper constructed from an advanced microfiber for comfort, durability and excellent of abrasion resistance
- Extensive perforations throughout for maximum airflow, with a front bellow constructed from textile material for enhanced breathability
- Innovative heel counter support system, which works in conjunction with a strap closure to offer improved fit and support, as well as structural integrity
- Rear of heel counter has been designed with soft TPR insert which works seamlessly with the rear flex zone to allow for improved freedom of ankle movement and comfort on the bike's controls
- Rear flex bellow is equipped with a flex window, which also acts as an air intake for effective ventilation and airflow
- New ergonomic TPU shift pad for enhanced durability in a critical area
- Alpinestars exclusive compound rubber sole with grip patterning to promote improved feel and grip, water dispersion and durability
- Sole features integrated Alpinestars TPF (Transversal protection Frame) to protect against possible transversal loads
- Instep and Achilles' accordion flex zones are constructed from lightweight microfiber for optimized levels of durability, comfort and maneuverability on and off the bike
- Thermowelded flex grooves to control the flexion and flexibility of the shoe; instep, medial and back
- Reverse zip closure ensures convenient in and out

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER?
We do our best to ship on the same day as your order. Your package should arrive in 3 business days. If we know it is going to take longer than 3 business days to get it out to you, we will let you know so you can decide if you would still like the product.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES (ONLINE ORDERS ONLY)
We will accept returns or exchanges on new, unused product within 30 days of your shipment being marked as delivered by the shipping company. Please contact us for a return authorization. Refunds will be made to the original method of payment.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the item is not in re-sellable condition. To ensure that your item is approved, make sure the item is in new and unused condition, and has all the original packaging. For returning helmets, boots, or other items that come in a box, do not use the original product box for shipping – this will negate your refund request. Please put them in an external shipping box to avoid any damage during the shipping process.
Any merchandise which has been 'taken out for a ride' or ‘tried on the bike’ is considered used and cannot be returned. We recommend trying on your gear indoors, for example, walking around in your boots in your home, or trying on your helmet while watching TV.
There are no restocking fees on product returns that meet the above conditions. Special Orders may be subjected to a restocking fee.
Buyers cover return shipping costs. For exchanges over $99, we will ship the new size to you free of charge.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Electrical items (such as Intercom devices, bluetooth systems, cameras, heated gear, etc), helmets, consumables, special order items, base layers (including balaclavas and socks), clearance items, gift cards, and products listed as “Final Sale” are non-returnable and non-refundable.
BACKORDERS AND DISCONTINUED PRODUCT
We do our very best to keep our website’s inventory up to date, however, item availability changes very quickly and sometimes items will be backordered or discontinued. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible, and we will always try to provide similar options for you to choose from. For backordered items, you are not obligated to wait and can receive a full refund to your original method of payment.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY (IN STORE)
Some items listed “available” online are not stocked in our storefront on an ongoing basis. If you have seen something online that you wish to see in-store, we recommend that you call ahead to see if we have the item, or make arrangements to order it in if we do not. Most items can be ordered in within one to two business days.
