Designed to meet the evolving demands of modern motorcycling safety, the innovative and ultra-lightweight Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA Airbag System is engineered to fit seamlessly under a jacket, ensuring a supremely comfortable and adaptive fit. The System's ultra-slim profile delivers an "invisible under the jacket" feel, offering unrestricted movement while providing advanced protection for an enhanced riding experience.
Features:
- Weighing just 1,530 g, the Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA is more than 25% lighter than the Tech-Air® 5, making it the lightest Tech-Air® System to date
- An all-new single-canister design reduces weight, enables faster airbag inflation, and simplifies servicing for quick turnaround
- The quick-release cover, secured with a Velcro hook-and-loop attachment, allows for easy access to the gas inflator—riders can simply insert a finger into the recess and lift the cover to detach it to access the gas inflator. In countires where gas inflator handling and self-replacement by individuals is permitted by local regulations, riders can quickly replace the gas inflator for continued protection on the ride
- The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA's features a fully modular construction, allowing riders to quickly disassemble the System for maintenance and cleaning. Simply unzip the rear stretch mesh panel, release the quick-access cover, detach both the back protector and airbag from the vest, and remove the LED Display and Activation Zip. This user-friendly design enables quick airbag removal for vest cleaning, providing effortless reassembly of the System. Servicing key components, including gas inflator replacement, is also quick and hassle-free—ensuring seamless functionality with minimal effort
- Provides up to 30 hours of riding time, ensuring reliability for long rides
- Available in eight sizes from XS to 4XL, offering a tailored fit designed to accommodate a wide range of body shapes
- The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA features three Riding Modes: STREET, OFF-ROAD, and RACE. After the System has been correctly switched on, the User can easily switch between the three different Riding Modes by pressing the button integrated in the LED Display
- When zipped up, the Tech-Air® 5 Plasma automatically activates via a separate internal magnetic sensor, and the LED Display on the lower chest will not only visually indicate the System's operational status, but will trigger a short (1 second) haptic vibration alert to notify the rider and confirm when the System is armed. The System generates a long vibration (3 seconds) when turned off or if the System shows a red Status LED

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER?
We do our best to ship on the same day as your order. Your package should arrive in 3 business days. If we know it is going to take longer than 3 business days to get it out to you, we will let you know so you can decide if you would still like the product.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES (ONLINE ORDERS ONLY)
We will accept returns or exchanges on new, unused product within 30 days of your shipment being marked as delivered by the shipping company. Please contact us for a return authorization. Refunds will be made to the original method of payment.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the item is not in re-sellable condition. To ensure that your item is approved, make sure the item is in new and unused condition, and has all the original packaging. For returning helmets, boots, or other items that come in a box, do not use the original product box for shipping – this will negate your refund request. Please put them in an external shipping box to avoid any damage during the shipping process.
Any merchandise which has been 'taken out for a ride' or ‘tried on the bike’ is considered used and cannot be returned. We recommend trying on your gear indoors, for example, walking around in your boots in your home, or trying on your helmet while watching TV.
There are no restocking fees on product returns that meet the above conditions. Special Orders may be subjected to a restocking fee.
Buyers cover return shipping costs. For exchanges over $99, we will ship the new size to you free of charge.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Electrical items (such as Intercom devices, bluetooth systems, cameras, heated gear, etc), helmets, consumables, special order items, base layers (including balaclavas and socks), clearance items, gift cards, and products listed as “Final Sale” are non-returnable and non-refundable.
BACKORDERS AND DISCONTINUED PRODUCT
We do our very best to keep our website’s inventory up to date, however, item availability changes very quickly and sometimes items will be backordered or discontinued. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible, and we will always try to provide similar options for you to choose from. For backordered items, you are not obligated to wait and can receive a full refund to your original method of payment.

If you have seen something online that you wish to see in-store, we recommend that you call ahead to see if we have the item, or make arrangements to order it in if we do not.
